AMTA Massage Anatomy Guide: Your Go-To App for Musculoskeletal Anatomy

AMTA Massage Anatomy Guide is a comprehensive app that offers a wide range of features to help users ace their next exam or educate their clients. Developed by American Massage Therapy Association in partnership with Books of Discovery, this interactive app is available to AMTA members for free.

The app contains digital flashcards that cover 144 muscles, 61 bones and bony landmarks, 50 joints and ligaments, and 64 common movements, including the synergists and antagonists. The pins on the illustrations identify muscles, bones, and bony landmarks, and users can navigate directly from muscle groups to individual muscles.

AMTA Massage Anatomy Guide also offers multiple options to test users' musculoskeletal anatomy knowledge, including answering multiple-choice questions, locating specific structures, and identifying AOIN points. Users can bookmark specific cards for later review and search the table of contents using an easy-to-search capability.

The app also allows users to zoom into illustrations for more detail using pinch touch and flip the cards to view illustrations on one side and details on the other (movement and muscle cards only). Additionally, a help button guides users through all the features available in the app.

Overall, AMTA Massage Anatomy Guide is an excellent educational tool that is designed to be viewed in portrait mode and is perfect for those who are always on the go.
